Accommodation
Where are We Staying?
Our home for the week is a breathtaking property in Pigadia, Thermisia, nestled by the sea of Argosaronikos with views of the islands of Hydra and Dokos. This stunning property offers the best of coastal serenity — a private beach, lush garden, newly built swimming pool, along with tennis and basketball courts.
The property is made up of three separate houses, featuring three living rooms, two dining areas, and two fully equipped kitchens — offering both spaciousness and comfort for our group to unwind and connect. The retreat will be capped at 10 guests. The accommodations include six private full bedrooms and two shared rooms — one with a full bed and one with two twin beds.
Your Instructor: Erin Lyons
Erin received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in Rishikesh, India from Rishikesh YTTC in early 2020 but has been practicing yoga for 15 years. She graduated from Roger Williams University where she studied Dance & Performance Studies and Global Communications and currently teaches yoga classes full time all around New York City. She loves building connections, diving deep into yoga, and most importantly making clients feel good.
Erin created Atlas Yoga to fuse two of her favorite things – travel and yoga. Having traveled to 37 countries and hiked in 51 national parks around the US, it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about what makes a travel experience memorable. Building upon these two passions, Atlas Yoga curates retreats that are the perfect combination of travel and yoga. This will be Erin’s 9th international retreat she has hosted and she continues to strive to make each trip better than the last.
Your Chef: Maria Tavares
Chef Maria is a vegetarian chef from Portugal, specializing in functional gastronomy — crafting delicious, allergen-friendly dishes using the freshest, most sustainable ingredients. Her plant-based, low-carb, detox, and raw-inspired creations are a highlight of every retreat. This will be her 6th retreat with Atlas Yoga, and you can rest assured: the food will be unforgettable.

FAQ
You can fly direct from NYC to Athens, there a few different options for nonstop flights. These flights will be redeyes, so you will need to plan to fly out of NYC on Sunday June 21st at the latest. However, we recommend using the weekend before to fit in some European travel if that works for your schedule.
If you have any questions about best flight tracking/airlines/credit card points, feel free to reach out as Brandon is a font of knowledge in terms of travel hacking.
***Make sure that your passport is valid at minimum 6 months beyond the last day of the retreat***
If you are coming to the villa from Athens, the best way to get there is to take a ferry from Piraeus ferry port to Hydra Island, which should take around an hour and half and will cost between 30 – 40 euros. As it gets closer, we will identify a couple options for ferries that would line up nicely with check in time. From Hydra, we will arrange private water taxis that will take you directly to our property that will take around 15 minutes.
It is also possible to drive to the property as it’s attached to the mainland of Greece if you’re interested in renting a car – it will take around two and a half hours.
If you are arriving from a location other than Athens, reach out to us and we can workshop the best way to get you to the property.
Check in is anytime after 2pm on Monday June 22nd, and checkout is at 10 AM on Saturday June 27th.
Of course! Please let us know if you have any health restrictions and we will plan accordingly with our chef. All meals will be vegetarian friendly.

Travel insurance is required to protect you! If for any reason you have to cancel, and you are not eligible for a refund as stated in our policy found here, then travel insurance can ensure that you get your money back. We know this from experience – we have had guests cancel at the last minute due to sickness, but thankfully their travel insurance covered the full cost of the retreat.
Our recommendation for attaining travel insurance is to use SquareMouth – it’s a website that allows you to compare insurance quotes from a bunch of different reputable companies to find the best coverage for you. Make sure to read the fine print, and determine for yourself how much coverage is necessary, including potentially upgrading to the option for “Cancel For Any Reason”. At the minimum, it should cover the cost of the retreat and your flights for an emergency situation (sickness, family emergency, etc.)
If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out at erin@atlasyogaretreats.com
Please reference our refund and cancellation policy here.
