Accommodation
Where are We Staying?
Our home for the week is Dar Layyina, a private estate nestled just 30 minutes from the heart of Marrakech. Surrounded by peaceful gardens and views of the Atlas Mountains, this exclusive retreat offers the perfect balance of Moroccan charm and luxury.
The retreat will be capped at 13 guests staying amongst the estate’s 10 rooms that are spread across four unique spaces: the Villa, Pool House, Riad, and Pavilion, each offering its own character and atmosphere. Throughout your stay, you’ll have access to an array of beautifully designed communal spaces, including two swimming pools (one heated), a rooftop terrace, traditional hammam and sauna, fitness pergola, table tennis, pickleball, basketball, and pétanque courts.
Every detail of your stay is thoughtfully cared for by the dedicated villa staff and your Atlas Yoga team of Erin, Brandon, and assistant teacher Jenna Goode. From maintaining the gardens and securing the grounds, to preparing nourishing vegetarian meals and ensuring the retreat runs seamlessly, the warm hospitality of Dar Layyina is the perfect setting to slow down, recharge, and experience the magic of Morocco.
Instructor & Host: Erin Lyons
Erin Lyons received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in Rishikesh, India from Rishikesh YTTC in early 2020 but has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. She graduated from Roger Williams University where she studied Dance & Performance Studies and Global Communications and currently teaches yoga classes full time all around New York City.
Erin created Atlas Yoga to fuse two of her favorite things – travel and yoga. Having traveled to 40 countries and hiked in over 50 national parks around the world, it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about what makes a travel experience memorable. Building upon these two passions, Atlas Yoga curates retreats that are the perfect combination of travel and yoga. This will be Erin’s 11th international retreat she has hosted and she continues to strive to make each trip better than the last.
Assistant Instructor: Jenna Goode
Jenna Goode is a 4-time Atlas Yoga alum; she attended her first retreat in Costa Rica in March of 2024, and couldn’t stay away. After the pandemic, multiple career changes, and 2 Atlas retreats, Jenna decided to make a major shift in her life, leaving her job to pursue her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in New York City.
Jenna’s passion is building community and helping people find the connection between yoga and everyday life. Her classes encourage students to rethink the fundamentals and move with intention rather than simply going through the motions. She loves creating thoughtful, creative sequences that challenge students while still leaving space to explore, play, and connect with themselves. As someone who has experienced Atlas Yoga from the guest perspective, Jenna brings a unique understanding of what makes these retreats so special. Outside of yoga, you can find her working with rescue dogs (and any other animal she can find) and probably watching horror movies.

Travel insurance is required to protect you! If for any reason you have to cancel, and you are not eligible for a refund as stated in our policy found here, then travel insurance can ensure that you get your money back. We know this from experience – we have had guests cancel at the last minute due to sickness, but thankfully their travel insurance covered the full cost of the retreat.
Our recommendation for attaining travel insurance is to use SquareMouth – it’s a website that allows you to compare insurance quotes from a bunch of different reputable companies to find the best coverage for you. Make sure to read the fine print, and determine for yourself how much coverage is necessary, including potentially upgrading to the option for “Cancel For Any Reason”. At the minimum, it should cover the cost of the retreat and your flights for an emergency situation (sickness, family emergency, etc.)
If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out at erin@atlasyogaretreats.com
Please reference our refund and cancellation policy here.
