Your Instructor: Erin Lyons

Erin received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in Rishikesh, India from Rishikesh YTTC in early 2020 but has been practicing yoga for over a decade. She graduated from Roger Williams University where she studied Dance & Performance Studies and Global Communications and currently teaches yoga classes full time all around New York City. She loves building connections, diving deeper into yoga, and most importantly making clients feel good.

Erin created Atlas Yoga to fuse two of her favorite things – travel and yoga. Having traveled to 30 countries and hiked in 50 national parks around the US, it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about what makes a travel experience memorable. Building upon these two passions, Atlas Yoga curates retreats that are the perfect combination of travel and yoga. This will be Erin’s sixth international retreat she has hosted and she continues to strive to make each trip better than the last.

FAQ

Most flights from NYC to Split are not direct, you will likely have to take a layover or use it as an excuse to extend your trip to another European city for a few days. We highly recommend visiting Dubrovnik (Kings Landing from Game of Thrones if you are a fan of the show).

Often from NYC, the best way to travel to Europe is by redeye so plan to leave NYC the night of Wednesday May 21st or earlier to arrive to Split Thursday, May 22nd. Brandon and Erin will already be at the villa ready to check you in. If you have any questions about best flight tracking/airlines/credit card points, feel free to reach out as Brandon is a font of knowledge in terms of travel hacking.

***Make sure that your passport is valid at minimum 6 months beyond the last day of the retreat***

We will provide airport pick ups and drop offs for guests directly to the villa. We will organize these pickups a few weeks before the retreat and will try to group guests together accordingly based on arrival time.

Checkout from the villa is at 10 AM, and we will provide either transportation to the Split airport or to the city of Split depending on your travel plans.

Of course! Please let us know if you have any health restrictions and we will plan accordingly with our chef. All meals will be vegetarian friendly.

We offer early bird pricing until Friday, November 1st which is $100 off the price of the retreat. A $500 deposit per person is charged at booking to hold your reservation, final payment of remaining balance will be processed automatically on March 1st, 2025. After this date, full payment will be required at booking.

If you have been on a retreat with Atlas Yoga previously, you get early access to booking and receive $200 off list price at any time of booking. During early bird pricing, you will pay the $500 deposit per person and then an additional $100 will be automatically taken off your second payment on March 1st, 2025. If you book after the early bird window, you will pay the $500 deposit per person and then an additional $200 will be automatically taken off your second payment on March 1st, 2025.

Travel insurance is required to protect you! If for any reason you have to cancel, and you are not eligible for a refund as stated in our policy found here, then travel insurance can ensure that you get your money back. We know this from experience – we have had guests cancel at the last minute due to sickness, but thankfully their travel insurance covered the full cost of the retreat.

Our recommendation for attaining travel insurance is to use SquareMouth – it’s a website that allows you to compare insurance quotes from a bunch of different reputable companies to find the best coverage for you. Make sure to read the fine print, and determine for yourself how much coverage is necessary, including potentially upgrading to the option for “Cancel For Any Reason”. At the minimum, it should cover the cost of the retreat and your flights for an emergency situation (sickness, family emergency, etc.)
